InStyle Magazine, and now carried by Madonna, this unique tote by
Yves Saint Laurent is prepped to be the house's next big bag.
Featuring side belts (yummmmmm, mmmmmmmm *drool*), horizontal zippers and a trio of studs, the YSL Downtown Tote is certainly identifiable.
But is it all that attractive? I only kind of like it. But I say if I were to buy into this trend, I'd go for the Raffia version---it's in two-toned brown and less expensive.
Madonna's black leather style costs $1,395 and pre-orders through Neiman Marcus.
I've hated the Gaucho by Dior. There wasn't one aspect to pinpoint, or so I thought, but with the arrival of a new Gaucho style, I suddenly know.
The bag is 1,000 times better with short double handles instead of a long shoulder (or cross body - bleck!) strap.
Unfortunately I've only seen this style in a yellow-creme white, but hey that's in right?
The new Gaucho is sized 18" x 12" and through Diabro.net costs roughly $1,277.
The styleosphere is abuzz and some of it appalled over a new (now pulled) Dolce & Gabbana advertisement.

Sure, the man-on-top is holding "down" the female's hands, but there is absolutely 0 struggle from her. At worst, she is aloof and none-too interested. But her body language shows she is only acting coy, for her pelvis is "reaching" for her partner.
Three men look on, but this can't only signal gang rape, but instead of course just a naughty kinkier game.
I think the ad is actually so standard in our society that I wonder why I'm explaining my views. Hmm. Am I wrong? What do you see?
Ooooooooooooh! No, they didn't! Chloe made a to-die key chain styled after their 'Edith' bags. I swear this is an IT key fob if I ever saw one! Featuring a clasp-closure (no annoying "ring" to break your nails whilst attaching keys) and a mini little pocket with Edith-style buckle.
Oh, no. Not another Chloe key chain I want to buy! I already have one. (Plus 6 bags.) *blush*
And it's an expensive one, at $280!
But hey it comes in whiskey (dark tan) coloured leather, so it doesn't match my Chamois large Edith (too bad, it'd be dear to hang off it, because it's a pocketless style).
I don't need it, I don't need it. Tell myself that. Oh, no, if this pops up on eBay, I know I'll cave.
