Our layout does not work in the NEW version of Internet Explorer. It does not look good at all, and I apologized to all those whom have upgraded. It seems like a nice version, with tabs, even.

I was on a different computer yesterday on an older version looking at this very blog and there was no problem. Darn it.

I'm away on a trip right now, but it seems the only thing to do is convert to tables (alert: html nerd talk) from CSS when I get home. (web design talk alert:) I don't understand the craze for CSS layouts, they're too much trouble.

Ohh la la, number #1 trendy plus luxe evening bag for your fabulous New Years. I hope you've discovered this treat before, because it's sold out online. C'est the year-wide top 5 list, I guess. But we can still admire this lovely? Ooohhhh.

Silver and gold .. silver and gold .. what's more beautiful than a gold lace clutch? A classic Lauren Merkin shape goes ultra classy for the new year for all you ladies and your soirées at $225. This Eve Metallic Lace bag is so beautiful and different, it had to be #3 in our top party bags list.

The top 4 party bag is not really a small evening bag, but it's fancy, elegant, and besides: it has the word "tuxedo" in its name. And as it also resembles certain elements of the formal dress, again, its suited to be an evening bag. This Tuxedo Leather Bag by Be & D is a medium sized shoulder bag that'll run $950. I'm thinking of saving for this one, or perhaps doing a sale stalk! Such a beaute.

I hope Santa brought a sack of goodies in a stylish stocking, but nothing like this Santa Sak (unless you have a big one as your stocking, that might be a good idea!).

This week of Christmas and before New Years, it's the Top 5 Party Bags. The first is an anniversary evening purse by Coach: Madison Stripe Flap.

The evening shape is a rare one for Coach and the stripes carry "legacy." Plus, they're colorful and make for great funky, upbeat party fun. Coach has similar styles in more formal special occasion bags, so check those out too.

The #1 ugly bag in our Top 5 Ugly Bags list is ... Louis Vuitton Monogram Mink "Bum" Bag.

It's not just ugly for bright colored monogram on the wrong "canvas", it's not just ugly being "immoral" for using fur, but no, it's both: it's also ugly for defacing beautiful mink with large, colorful monogram.

I thought fur was to be appreciated as beautiful and natural from the animal? I mean this is coming from an anti-fur person, but I thought that fur-lovers liked the look of real animal fur (and feel, but it's "just a bag").

I wish this were fake fur, but it wouldn't be Vuitton, it wouldn't be luxury, and then the other half of fashionistas would think it were ugly. Le sigh!

Besides, it's also ugly because one way to wear it is around the waist - agh!
