Not only is this a suede Mary Jane Manolo Blahnik, not leather like all I previously featured. But it is one of the more gorgeous things I have seen, with its feminine detailing to match the pretty color. Those are "floral cutouts" with little beads or diamanté (I'm unsure), that remind me of butterfly wings of a rare and precious species. Also complimenting this peach shade, which I must mention again as utterly elegant, is a golden buckle. Divine!
Yours to ponder at $545. Me, I just can't get over its pure unreal beauty. I'm stunned by the accidental artistry of the photography. It really does look unreal!

Jessica Simpson has debuted a "line" of western-style fashion boots, and I actually think the "
Jessica
" style is rather nice. When I compare it to similar boots, it beats out, feet down. For cowboy boots, they are attractive. There is also the "
Daisy
." Both have fairly nice details and shaping, clearly designed by a professional. I'm curious to see if "Ms. Simpson" puts out any other styles. This does not mean I've made nice with the pop singer, oh, no. She needs to be very careful with her appearance
and work around this fashion blogger.
Part of our belated Birthday celebration, and the new year, here is a list of my favorite accomplishments in our very first year.
January 2005 - Voted most likely to succeed by Manolo from his ShoeBlog.
Kiss Me, Stace. The Manolo has voted the Designer Ella the girl most likely to succeed with the shoe blogging. She works hard at finding the shoes and the blogging.
January 2005 - By the end of our first month, Kiss Me, Stace received 1,000 visits (not hits).
April 2005 - Pursed Lips was our first network branch-off blog.
September 2005 - Kiss Me, Stace mentioned in the New York Times Styles.
With names like Fashionologie, Kiss Me, Stace, Shoewawa and Now Smell This, the more popular fashion blogs are compelling enough that "to ignore them is to run the risk of seeming out of touch."
Here's to an even better new year!

Somehow, I did get "ice" this Christmas. During my holidays trip to visit my best friend, I received a gold shoe pendant necklace with diamonds. He is thoughtful, and recognized my lack of higher quality jewelry. It's a shoe! (It's a slingback sandal.)
