Nominate Yourself for What Not to Wear: Wannabe!

"What Not to Wear" is one of my favorite shows and is a weekly fashion bible for many in North America.

Do you wannabe Stacy London, Clinton Kelly (TV stylists), Nick Arrojo (TV hair stylist) or Carmindy (TV makeup artist)? Do you think you are talented enough to do what they do? Can you do better? What Not to Wear: Wannabe is a new 2-hour special that's going to give you the chance to prove it!

Wannabe is a nationwide search for aspiring fashion stylists, hair stylists and make up artists. Professional or not we're looking for people who think they've got what it takes to make the world a better-looking place.

We are looking for people who are talented enough to be able to improve the most challenging of clients, who are confident enough to do it on television against the clock, and who have the personality to be able to talk about it as they do it. Teams are encouraged to apply! Twelve finalists will be flown to New York City to compete in a three-day style-driven challenge.

Who thinks I should do it? lol

Father's day is the 19th of this month of June. It is the perfect excuse for we girls to take a look at the other side - the men's designer accessories, specifically; wallets.

Coach, my favorite handbag designer, also creates fine leather wallets for men. Some have logos, some don't, but all are fairly simple, yet oh, so sophisticated and full of class. If your father is like any man I know, his wallet is old and ratty. He needs a new one! Even if you can't afford giving a Coach present to your dear old, this might give you ideas.

While you're giving the thoughtful gift of sprucing up your dad (although, to me it seems self-helping, as well, to make those around you look good) you might want to suggest he forgoe the wallet-in-the-jeans'-pocket.

Our male peers tease us for carrying handbags, while they walk around with a lump in their pants - in the wrong spot.
