Stylish with Substance

I'm not quite sure how to rate these shoes, there are precarious factors..

This shoe looks fabulous. The contrast stitching really improves the shoe, it rises above the plainer similar pairs. It's a pink pointy-toe, but in a flat; which some people might need or prefer. It has all the look of the pump versions, if you don't need that heel.

One minus is that this shoe does not have a versatile look. I don't know many outfits that I can wear this with, but come Spring time, I'll be trying. At the price, this shoe is still worth it!

The shoe is made of leather, and it fits comfy against the foot. It is also snug against the toes, much more so in length. It is actually not narrow at all. I am keeping them in the size I bought, the leather is soft and luxurious enough to not bother me while it is against my skin. You may also need a heel pad.

There is light padding on the insole, but a part of the padding near the heel is actually hard at first. It really only bothers for a little while, and then the shoe is quite comfortable again.

It really is a comfortable shoe.

Perhaps we'll go on a shopping spree to get bright colours, including hot pink, perhaps with some Pucci feel to them.

The hot pink shoe is hot this trend cycle. Vibrant pumps in pointy-toes are very hot; anything to show that you love shoes so much you'll go to great lengths to look outstanding, even with shoes that aren't practical or versatile for your wardrobe. But you are a fashionista, you probably have outsanding outfits to match.

Steve Madden - Kendor

There aren't many of these left. These are the even more outstanding kind, with cutouts and a metallic sheen. The low heel make this shoe a fit for everyone.

Gabriella Rocha - Arumi

This is the fancy dress pump version. The details are moderate, but intricate, almost exquisite. There is rouching on the toe, and perforations just behind that on the vamp. This shoe is not just a hot pink trend, but a to-be classic pump that will last in one's collection.

This is the toned down version; fit for more outfits, fit for more women.

AK Anne Klien Double-Breasted Pea Coat (Spice and Raspberry)

I really wanted a red pea coat that was fashionable and flattering. I actually found one at Filene's on sale over $100 off, for $70.

Filenes.com doesn't sell coats (or shoes! gasp!), and I only found a similar coat at Overstock.com (Save up to 80%!), also by Anne Klien. I only found the coat on that site by searching, not browsing, and it is a little bit more expensive. I would go to Filene's if there is one near you.

My coat's differences:

Mine has a hood (I really like the hood). When the collar is down, it has a little bit lower of a V (less warm, I suppose, but looks nice with a scarf tucked inside). The pockets are lower. There is no crease on the back-bottom (I think it looks better without).

I love my coat!!! It is perfect and so flattering. It is all I hoped, but better because of the price.

I had a great shopping trip. I tried on the two pairs of shoes below this. That was partly disappointing. I almost didn't buy a thing, which made me proud. In the end my family bought this for me, as a Valentine's present! I'll have SOMETHING to keep my heart warm.

Kenneth Cole Reaction - Over the Moon - On sale at Zappos for $61.90 (11% off of $69.)

The picture does not do this cute shoe justice.

This is the perfect shoe for school with a mix of casual and dress, a mix of the comfort-look and the classy. It's a school shoe for the growing up and the shoe fashionista.

The red piping in this buckled low-heel is flattering, especially for whom red is her color.

While the 1/2" heel is walkable for most circumstances, the toe box is narrow. The narrow footed will smile, surely, and beam while moving or sitting comfortably in this shoe. Alas, there is no alternative for a slightly or overly wide foot.

Perhaps if this were an inexpensive shoe, one could buy it, wear it, and be happy. One reviewer at Zappos said her pair loosened up. Surely the wider footed, true-foot-obsessed knows how to wait for a shoe to wear in. Is that you? Be prepared to walk in this shoe for a month until that happens.

Steve Madden - Violit - $69.95

Steve Madden is having a shoe sale! The shoe pictured above, a popular one, is not on sale. It is, however, adorably priceless. It flatters the foot, the leg, and the air that is simply the aura around these shoes. It may make the floor look like the dirty ground that it is. It is just the perfect looking shoe.

Look at that dainty, off-center bow! The understatedness of this bow detail definitely adds to the value of this look.

The shoe is best in black and white tweed (good work and play shoe?), but would make for a cute and dressy school shoe in brown. It is almost too well cut to own as a sensible shoe, like that, but if you have the money, buy both colors! If you prefer, get the girly pink for a date shoe!

Alas, I can merely dream at owning this shoe, there is practically no height in the toe box. Again, I have large toes, but I believe the shoe is sure to scrunch most feet.

This is the most adorable kitten heel, with a retro feel. The shoe is comfortable. There is no scrunching on the side of the toes, but the vertical height in the toe box is just a bit cramping for my big toes, probably not for yours, though. My stupid toes!

The heel of the shoe is narrow, which, for me, only means it hugs my foot and will not slip off. With wear, it will stretch to fit a wider heeled foot.

The shoe, again, really looks adorable. It may not be the most versatile shoe for every outfit, however, I am sure you will find a few great Spring and Summer outfits that will be perfectly complimented by this flat. It is easier to find outfits for this style, than the very hot look of a hot pink point-toe shoe.

I love kitten heels, they look like heels, in some respects, but don't give the trouble.

Btw, I was locked out of my site for days, because of some error within the site. My host doesn't know what it was, but the support staffer changed my password for me and then I could log in.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: I'm almost done getting referrals. Some of you/them might need help getting referrals, so I will promise to advertise for each of mine, and I may even sign up AGAIN under one of you. I will go through with the offer, too, but this won't be right away.

CSS or Tables? CSS. Firefox, Netscape and who knows what else, or IE? IE is the browser that cannot grasp at security, but still remains at 60-70% popularity among sheer numbers of users.

I'll give IE credit for one thing, their widths are based on pixels as images use them. But Firefox and all others use the same width system, which is different from IE. Can majority be right? I don't know what the widths in those browsers are about, but I'll have to start perferring it, because I use Mozilla now.

I fixed up the template so there was no slight error, I took out the tables which held everything together with paste. It is now standing solely on CSS, which was the original intent. But the widths cause everything to fall apart between those two worlds. Either it looks bad for 60% of my visitors, or bad for all of the other browsers.

My command decision was to take the moral high ground, so to speak. I believe all IE users should find another browser, so I won't cater to them.

Right now the site doesn't look right for IE. But, hey, it doesn't look perfect for Firefox, because I changed one thing to make it at least functional for IE. I'm going to go change my LOVELY background, to make it seem alright for IE. I wish I didn't have to. Please convert to another browser. There's nothing we can should do for you anymore. That is harsh, but there should be a web standard, anyway. And there is. Firefox, Netscape, etc. follow it.
