Freckleface's 'Money Bags' Bra Wallets

February 01, 2008

They're bras with ... breastises inside (check 2nd picture--mature)! This is the most inventive handbag creation since the first person correlated purses with vaginae (probably the first man to see a woman with one, and I vouch for the concept).

Freckleface Money Bag

These wallets are open inside like pouches, with one zippered pocket, so they could double as small clutches, too. Just be careful who's around when you pull your cash out of the - um - cups. Whoo! Bag flash!

What a riot! This custom Money Bag (different bras/skin tones) is available from Freckleface for only $35. Beyond a steal for a must in any purse collection!!

And for more fun, check out the beyond saucy baldie lady, the Britney - it's the um, other part. ;-)

Top 5 Wallets #1!

December 19, 2006

What makes our number 1 wallet in our top wallets list so at the top is because it's so the most IT of all wallets all year. Love the line or hate it, this collection of small accessories are big IT bags of their own.

So our #1 wallet of 2006 is Louis Vuitton's Groom Line Monogram Wallet with Zip Pocket. It's sizable, at 7.5" x 4" with a whopping 10 credit card slots and several pockets, including a zip pocket (for coins?).

Louis Vuitton Groom Wallet

I love that! Interior coin pockets are the best, because it's so much easier to put back change with bills at the same time. And we all have all those member/discount/merch cred/gift card/debit/charge/etc etc etc cards! We need a good number of slots, like 10.

Face it, use slash utilitarianism, combined with durability are the true factors of what we need in wallets.

But then of course it's from Louis Vuitton, with those LVs and that crazed-for new unmistakable bellhop / "groom" cartoon.

All that LV-goodness for $570 (and catch it before the next price increase in February!).

Love the little guy or hate him, the groom's in.

And I personally hope he sticks around long enough for me to get a nicely aged one down the road on eBay!

The Hamptons Leather Signature Checkbook Wallet has that luxe imprinted leather, plenty of room, and plenty of room to enjoy looking at the embossed signature!

Chloe Paddington WalletAnd the top 3 wallet is the Chloe Paddington Wallet. It's an IT wallet, without being too heavy on the eyes or the arms. And it's just pretty, with anthracite leather.

See my previous post on the wallet, as well.

New Louis Vuitton Line + Price Raise

November 06, 2006

Louis Vuitton Damier Azur OrganizereLUXURY now has Louis Vuitton's new Damier Azur line in stock, though I believe more bags are to come (or perhaps have all quickly-quickly sold out?).

Damier Azur is the Damier checkerboard coated canvas pattern, but in crème and pale blue. The bags in stock are two luggage duffles and one organizer wallet (Zippy Organizer, shown)---my favorite of the collection, the French Purse, sold out within days. What a shocker shame!

As usual, don't trust eBay for these new LVs.

Also new for Louis Vuitton is the third price rise this year. Rises depended on former price points and newness factor of bags, and was about $20 for most styles. The Alma, for one example, went from around $880 I believe, to an even $900. Whoa!

What do you think of this news?

Chloe Paddington Wallet

July 31, 2006

It's IT Bag Monday (late afternoon) ... with a wallet!

If you want a hot wallet, you've found it. If you want a teeny tiny bit of a Chloe Paddington, for a lower yet not highly reasonable price, well I think you've got it.

Chloé Paddington Wallet

I do like it, don't get me wrong! I like the padlock, of course---and I really, really like the way the key is attached: on the zipper pull.

You know blatantly in this case that the lock is not a utilitarian device, and I like that ... worrying if I have to unlock my purse to get inside is too much for me.

But wait, in the case of a wallet, it might be nice. One could keep the key elsewhere and maybe be a little bit safer from card & identity theft?

Anyway, it is a nice look, at least. Tongue in oh, so chic? Oh, so chic.

Specs: Anthracite leather, zip fastenings for cards and coins, 7 ½" l x 4" h x 1" d, $615.

The Perfect Coin Purse from Urban Outfitters

December 05, 2005

Urban Outfitters Buckle Coin Purse TealI am often a public transportation passenger. And I am driven nuts by the separate sets of change and everything I may need---which all is required to be in my hand in a second, as the bus pulls up. Pocketed change doesn't make me feel cool, and change in any wallet is hard to count up into the right amount in a short time. I need at least a double-compartment coin purse---or a full wallet with all the pockets needed for transportation passes!

Urban Outfitters Buckle Coin Purse InsideUrban Outfitters Buckle Coin Purse is a great little wallet for the occasion. Any girl could use it every day to fit large and small bills, IDs and passes, change, receipts, and lip glosses ALL separate! Transit travelers can fit passes, tokens, and separated amounts of change. Plus, one can still fit some cash and makeup needed for those little trips, for you might have a large work tote and a wallet to store those necessities to switch between different use bags. For $12 and in stylish bronze or teal, it's cheap and chic, to boot.

Wallets for the Fathers

June 02, 2005

Father's day is the 19th of this month of June. It is the perfect excuse for we girls to take a look at the other side - the men's designer accessories, specifically; wallets.

Coach, my favorite handbag designer, also creates fine leather wallets for men. Father\'s Day Men\'s Wallets Coach Textured Coin WalletSome have logos, some don't, but all are fairly simple, yet oh, so sophisticated and full of class. If your father is like any man I know, his wallet is old and ratty. He needs a new one! Even if you can't afford giving a Coach present to your dear old, this might give you ideas.

Pictured here is the Textured Coin Wallet. I like it for its large coin pocket. I also recommend the Textured Leather ID Wallet, the English Bridle Passcase ID Wallet, and the English Bridle Compact ID Wallet.

While you're giving the thoughtful gift of sprucing up your dad (although, to me it seems self-helping, as well, to make those around you look good) you might want to suggest he forgoe the wallet-in-the-jeans'-pocket.

Our male peers tease us for carrying handbags, while they walk around with a lump in their pants - in the wrong spot.

(Feel free to suggest your favorite name-brand wallets for men, to be posted here.)
