The Ogio Chassy laptop bag
struck me for a few reasons. 1. It's pink. 2. Tons of pockets, and I quote, "jewelry / make-up / no - boys - allowed pockets." Wow, that's some serious marketing.
There are also "back panel mail and receipts file pocket - rear fold-out water bottle pocket." Heavy duty perfection.
Tip: This bag is does not convert into a backpack, as some images make it appear. I wish it would, because I've realized I need the support sporting heavy machinery. Maybe in the next collection!
Choose this messenger at 12"h x 15.5"w x 3"d in pink, green, highlighter blue or white and lined in polka dots, for $73.95.
It's a thing, it's trendy. Or it's a new thing in our network, but I like to think it's some cool thing. Nah. Wow, I've gone blabbery trying to make my intro unique and me. Anyway. This is the Related Posts from Lipped Media entry.
There's only one this week, but that's pretty good, although you never know what might pop up!
Pursed Lips featured a laptop bag by Case Logic that's half stylish details, half practical business; which is pretty good.
I'll try to weekly feature bag-related posts from other Lipped Media blogs. Even though it's my idea, I'm forgetful and sometimes, there will be no bags (the horror!).
This week we're doin' OK.
- Sharp Byte featured the Begeren Tribeca Laptop bag and Meg-pie didn't like it that much, but I say she didn't give it enough chance. I blame poor photography for the black not shining as it should, but just look at the mahogany; it's supple, detailed; it really is the haute of laptop cases. I will admit that it, being slightly rugged, is not for everyone, especially with its haute pricetag.

- SJS from Style Spotlight pointed out that Jessica Simpson has a Louis Vuitton addiction; just look at that large piece of luggage she's using as a handbag! Even I think she has a serious problem. (I should know.)
- Pet-Pet's Darla Kitt loves the spunkier side of style, so she was drawn to a Tattooed Pet Carrier. It floats her boat, I say! I do actually love the little dress the doggie is wearing, though!
- While there was no actual handbag featured, I, yes I myself on Kiss Me, Stace, gave great advice to the fellow handbag addicted who are married. When you bring home your IT bag of joy, fear not for the husband not being thrilled. I give a tip! (It involves lingerie and heels.)
What a week! Ahhh, I love bags. I'm going to love this feature!
I just realized - despite aspirations toward the contrary - that I haven't actually posted about a single laptop bag! Well, that simply must change!
It's so hard to find a fashionable laptop tote, and even the "feminine" ones simply have a splash of pink and that's all. Well, this Case Logic - "Fashion Tote" / Laptop Case
may not be haute couture, but it's pretty snazzy and trendy for a laptop case!
Featuring neat side decos and a horizontal belt, this brown or black tote is sized at 18" x 13". Excuse me while I say, "yowzas!" That's a bit large for my frame and therefore gives more space than needed for any laptop I'd buy (I am currently in the market). But the style, itself, looks like a fashion handbag, and not just a *machine transportation case*. That is always much-appreciated.
The possible catch: It's made of a synthetic: microfiber, but it should be sturdy enough (boy, though, would I overuse it).
The best parts: check out the inside pockets, including one for an umbrella!
And then the price: only $79 from eBags.com
!
[Via Chip Chick] Look! It's the laptop user's version of a Balenciaga, with a $1,375 price tag to match.

Oh, please. Studs are so 2005. It ain't that cute, with no feminine details (or spot of pink in sight). Wait, though, the "Mahogany" is beautiful. But it's still not for me. And I'm not just mad at it because of the cost. Not just.

So my psycosisly challenged self was thinking the other day,
Is it wrong to desire a laptop bag, without exactly owning my own laptop? Knowing full well it will probably make me want to then buy a laptop? I don't know what's more expensive! the bag thing or how much the laptop would be! Hmm.. the bag thing.
The good news is that I can settle on hunting down a stylish and sophisticated - and longlasting - school tote, instead. And I have until next August!
But the hunt is not going well. I want places for my phone, my thingies, my pens. I'd like protective feet on the bottom. And I NEED it to be sized 14" x 11" in order to fit my notebook.
Even though my current bag is corduroy, inexpensive, not-so-stylish, and NOT designer or leather, or any such thing - and also has a couple of stains on the interior - it does its job. It has so many nice pockets. It is the perfect size.
So I may settle on keeping it. Besides, I've decided on buying a nice little wristlet to keep my money in. See, I can't bring my wallet to school, 'cause I'll forget to put it in my purse, but I need a little bit of money for drinks, lunches and snacks. So with this plan, a little bit of me can show off designer, can show off style, can show off something cute. And I've decided on just the thing.
To be continued ...
