COACH has announced they will put out a cheaper sub-range of accessories and fashions to be called "Poppy" and debut this July. "The Poppy line, ranging from $198 to $598, will include a whimsical array of tiaras, pochettes, footwear, watches, eyewear, and even select apparel items." -quoting COACH, from FabSugar.
There is high doubt (including from moi) that this line is more affordable / reasonable / better value---at all. My concern is that I read (and posted the quote above) there will be pouches (their small bags) but the prices start at $198, which is high for one of their pouch bags---or anything small.

I would eat up a true capsule line, or maybe just when things hit the outlet, because that's really how bad things are - but this? I'd rather carry the fabulous things I already own than slum it with downsizing the size of my purse so greatly, even for new cute styles (which will be different styles now anyway).
My verdict before being able to see any of this - wake up and smell the roses (which is what I find Coach's regular value to be like, flower-wise).
Think of that old adage, "if it's too good to be true, it (probably) is."

As much as I would LOVE Coach to be more reasonably priced, I totally agree that this isn't it
