The Best of Spring '10 Trends - 1-A: Ruffle T-Strap High Heels

March 19, 2010

The ruffle thing is such a huge, eternal for femininity and a personal favorite trend - and yes, I'm forever hooked on the look and anything I get in the style this Spring.

They're all over nearly everything right now, but it can be a little hard to find styles beyond the normal fashionista niches in shoes - namely designer or over $50 brands and, of course, sky-high heels.

I'm a mid-heel and under $50 shoe gal, so this trend in the Spring '10 series will be split up - oh probably more than any other. But the fun is in alllll those extra shoes to at least look at!

On with the list - the photo-y list. ;-)

Badgley Mischka

5" heel - $215 @ Bloomindgales

Christian Louboutin, obvs.

4.25" heel - $875 @ Bergdorf Goodman

Spiegel (One of the prettiest is also one of the least expensive over all!)

4.5" heel - $54 @ Spiegel

Be & D

Perhaps the only designer to boldly go so bold, mixing python imprinted leather with the ruffle trend. Do they go together? Not sure. Are they madly fierce? Yes yes yes!

4.75" heel - on sale for $404 @ Bluefly

BCBGMAXAZRIA

Mixing zippers, rosettes, and ruffles ... on a t-strap ... this shoe had to be included.

4.5" heel = $475 @ Piper Lime

BONUS!

Manolo Blahnik, obvs. These aren't ruffles, but not only are these feathers trendy, but this shoe is just so fabu I really just wanted to place it here. The pair would be a great alternative to buy, if you really want something a bit different. Or get two, this and one above. ;-) @ Neiman Marcus

Stay tuned

(or since this blog is new, some of these may already be posted by the time you this post.)

for posts on lower heels, flats and bargain ruffle shoes - and then a few more Spring 2010 trends!

[...] Like I wrote in part 1, some really trendy shoes are mostly made to be really high and/or by really high-priced designers. Shopping can be a bit difficult, but if you’ve had trouble, we might provide the help you need. [...]
