I wanted to highlight this angry response by someone apparently upset that I am trying to bring awareness and help, where this is none I see - none, for the poor slaughtered dogs of Greenland.
I hadn't wanted to write the "s" word, or describe the video, for anyone who wished to ignore sad facts (I understand if it's too upsetting), but there, now I "had" to do it.
The commenter made a lot of assumption about what I do for dogs elsewhere in the world, and what I understand of the situation in Greenland.

I believe I need not defend myself against angry allegations, nor defend anything I do for the animals I love more than humans. For one, I just do not believe any of my usual readers would require that of me. Nor do I believe an animal lover needs to defend herself for her love.
I actually wanted to get more opinions on this topic though. The start of the commenter's post is quoted, click here to read more. Post another response if you wish.
"You have absolutely NO understanding of the world others live in and their realities. You couldn't even understand the segment about which you complained. You have been brainwashed by Disney films. Wherever you live I am certain that right under your nose there is REAL animal cruelty... (cont.)"
Somehow after reading this offputting comment, highlighting it in this way has has helped sensitive me over it. To each his/her own, they say, however my strong love for my companion species compels me to see no excuse in their "murders". Whatever "benefit", pet or a canine needing rehabilitation, I'd fight for another option.
That's me, and it's also every person I know well and love (in addition to the dogs I love).
Anyway, now that I've built you a bridge to this person who sees a reason to fight me - I can get over it! ;-) And I'll now return to talk of fashion.
